Knocking Door Films is an owner operated, full service production company based in Cape Town, South Africa. The company is headed by executive producer Murray Macdonald whom has built many years of experience producing and 1st ADing TV Commercials and Feature Films for the international market.

Murray has produced commercials for Coca Cola, Renault, Mitsubishi, Twix, Nestle, Mars amongst other leading world brands. During this time his company has built solid relationships with local crew ensuring that all productions are run on time, within budget and on a note of good cheer.

The company has grown a palette of experience in VFX intensive shoots, Car commercials using Shotmaker’s, Tracking vehicles, Process Trailers, Ocean shoots aboard Motor Yachts, on Lakes, Underwater shoots both in pool and oceans, Aerial stunts, Helicopters, Drones, Car chases, Car stunts, Pyrotechnics, Table Top, Stunts. Murray has worked with A List stars: Clint Eastwood and John Cleese.

Filming locations include Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Lagos Nigeria, Accra Ghana amongst other exotic locations
